Rapid weight loss? Good quick diet?

I know this question has probably been asked a million times before, and that the best diet is eating right and exercising but I really just want to know a quick diet that can help me lose at least 5 kg in the next month or so…

It’s my 18th birthday in 5 weeks and I just want to lose those few extra kilo’s from Winter…(I’m in Australia). I’m not obese or anything, I’ve just gained a few kilo’s lately and I wanna drop them so I look hot on my 18th when I can finally hit the town :D lol

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

Personal experiences would be great too!

I’m considering things like the tea diet and the soup diets…..I know the weight won’t stay off with most of these but it could be a good way to kick start my diet so I can look good for Summer!

Oh, and I’m a vegetarian…so no ‘lean meat’ diets or anything please!

keep your carbs to 100g a day maximum. Find out your caloric maintenance level and reduce it by 500-800 calories a day.

There are 3500 calories in 1 pound of fat. so if you can cut 500 out each day you will lose 1 pound a week. It doesn;t matter too much what kind of food you eat, you need to eat bellow maintenance

Do not eat tonnes of apples like someone suggested. Apples are just a simple sugar and they will certianly not give you a calorie deficit by eating them. Celery is good to chew on because it’s just fibre and water.
